superman movies

i have read on the internet in the last couple of weeks that there is a plan to redo all the superman movies
in my oppion there want be another christoper reeve but the right choice to replace him an the best would be tom welling
he has done an outstanding job on smallville would like to see this become the right choice to do these movies
but i dont want to see smallville end i am going to miss that show very much
