Season 8 Episode 1 Odyssey

What did you guys think of this episode?

I think that season eight will start off good but will decline towards the end. I mean alot of us can tell that this will be the last season with everything they are doing. I mean with bringing in Doomsday, Lex being gone, Clark working at the Daily Planet. It all leads up to the end. I just hope that they do it with class.

Agreed. I think it's interesting, having DC involved more. I think it could make things more "epic". I think there are plenty of fans out there that could write a solid 22 eps if this was indeed the last season so I'm hoping DC can too.

If it is the last season they are straying away from typical TV formula. Usually a TV show will hype up a last season as the "big finish" before the season ever stars to maximize interest from fans.

Hi, I am a new member. I found out online that supposedly Doomsday actually is the one who kills Superman. Also Lois and Clark will become some what of a couple.

In the comics, yes, Doomsday did kill Superman but what people have to remember is that Smallville follows the comics, the movies and the TV series as well as forges their own path so Doomsday may be a great villain for Clark who kills him or doesn't. We'll have to see ... my bet ... he survives.

As far as Lois and Clark, there are already early indications that there is plenty of flirting amongst the legendary twosome.
